Aneka Billings, Esq.

Aneka Billings joined Timian & Fawcett in October 2024, as an associate attorney. Prior to joining our firm, Aneka was a plaintiff’s attorney on behalf of credit unions and worked in the consumer financial services industry. She has represented the largest credit union in the nation as well as other large national banks. It was this work that inspired her pivot to a people focused practice where she could truly make a difference in people’s lives.

Aneka earned her bachelor’s degree in business management from Alabama A&M University where she graduated magna cum laude. She earned her law degree from American University Washington College of Law, and she is admitted to practice in Maryland, D.C., and Pennsylvania. She is an active member of the Maryland Bar Association, the Maryland Association for Justice, and the District of Columbia Bar Association.

Aneka’s practice areas include personal injury litigation, workers’ compensation, and criminal defense. She is no stranger to the courtroom or to negotiations. She’s developed her litigation skills in various Maryland District and Circuit Courts and in the D.C. Superior Court, and she’s successfully negotiated hundreds of settlement agreements. Aneka is committed to providing exceptional client service, and she is passionate about pursuing justice for those who have been wronged.

Aneka is a proud citizen of Prince George’s County, and she enjoys community service work as a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. She believes in the importance of serving and working in the community in which she lives, and she is dedicated to helping the people of Maryland and D.C. with their legal needs.
